Course Description
This course is to be taken first in the mentoring program. In this course, interested experienced faculty will explore the essentials of mentoring. Upon completing this course interested faculty will be enrolled in the mentorship program and be paired with their mentee. The purpose of this course is to provide mentors with the tools and resources necessary to function effectively in the mentor role at Chamberlain University. Areas addressed include best practices in mentoring, coaching for success, cultural sensitivity, generational differences, conflict resolution skills, and fostering independence.
