Course Description
As members of our Chamberlain community, we strive to foster inclusive and equitable care and learning environments for our diverse student population. However, even the most well-intentioned among us may unknowingly harbor implicit biases that unconsciously influence our perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors.
In this open and judgment-free discussion, we will reflect on how implicit biases operate, their impacts within healthcare and higher education, and strategies to recognize and mitigate our own blind spots. By bringing implicit biases into consciousness through dialogue and self-reflection, we can gain insight into our thought patterns and create more conscious, mindful, and just spaces for those we serve.
