Course Description
In order to achieve health equity and reduce disparities in health outcomes, healthcare professionals need to be able to identify the pervasiveness and implications of implicit bias and how bias affects patients and their interactions within the healthcare system. This course will address how implicit bias negatively impacts health outcomes and identify actionable steps that healthcare providers can take to mitigate and counter bias both personally and professionally.
